Cody Rhodes will aim to finish his story at WWE WrestleMania 39, but he’ll acknowledge the past at the show.
“The American Nightmare” has previously noted that he intended to wear a special weight belt that had the names of the independent companies he worked for during his time away from WWE at WrestleMania. On March 26, Rhodes tweeted a picture of the belt, which has names of independent companies written on the inside, and suggested that he will be wearing it at WrestleMania by tagging SoFi Stadium and using WrestleMania as a hashtag.
Among many others, the names of Chaotic Wrestling, IMPACT Wrestling, EVOLVE, PWG, ROH, DEFY Wrestling, House of Glory, Big Time Wrestling, Blitzkrieg Pro, Limitless Wrestling, and Smash Wrestling are visible in the picture.
Rhodes will challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WWE WrestleMania 39.
