The men’s WrestleMania Showcase Match has been confirmed for WWE WrestleMania 39.
On the May 17 episode of WWE SmackDown, the broadcast team announced that WrestleMania 39 would feature both a men’s and women’s WrestleMania Showcase Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Match. Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan qualified to earn a spot in the women’s match on Friday night.
Ahead of the March 20 episode of WWE RAW, Byron Saxton announced that the four teams in the men’s match have been decided. The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) will face the Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar), Braun Strowman and Ricochet, and Alpha Academy (Otis and Chad Gable).
The status of Alpha Academy as a team is up in the air, as Otis has increasingly aligned with the Maximum Male Models in recent weeks.
Alpha Academy, the Street Profits, and Viking Raiders are all former tag team champions, so they will likely aim to score a big win at WrestleMania 39 in order to climb into title contention.
