Mustafa Ali is neither a SLAPJACK person nor wants to T-BAR and MACE you. Ali does, however, want to celebrate the legacy of RETRIBUTION nearing the anniversary of the group’s demise by breaking out one of the classic alternative hits of the mid-2000s, Hoobastank’s “The Reason.”
Mustafa Ali uploaded a video of himself parodying the song, referencing all the former members of the group and even his days as the SmackDown hacker. There’s even a line in there making sure that fans know that RETRIBUTION was, in fact, not ANTIFA.

Those stupid names made me cry.
Unlike RETRIBUTION, Hoobastank stayed together and has released four albums since The Reason dropped in 2003. Their last album, “Push Pull,” was released on May 25, 2018.
These days, Mustafa Ali has found reason and purpose in being a motivator after realizing the power of positive thinking helped him defeat Dolph Ziggler on Monday Night Raw.
