Eddie Kingston has been pulled from the upcoming Over The Top Wrestling event due to testing positive for COVID-19.
The Ring of Honor star was scheduled to appear and compete overseas for Over The Top Wrestling on March 17, 18, and 19 but the company has taken to social media to announce that due to testing positive for COVID-19, Kingston will no longer be appearing at these events, tweeting out:
“Unfortunately Eddie Kingston has tested positive for Covid and is currently isolated, as a result he can no longer appear at OTT #Wolverhampton #Dublin & #Belfast
However
Man Like Dereiss VS NJPWs Gabriel Kidd in Wolverhampton
Davey Richards VS Big Damo in Dublin
Belfast TBC,” Over The Top Wrestling said in a tweet.
Kingston deactivated his Twitter account yesterday. It’s currently unknown if these two things are related in any way.
Up to this point, all signs have pointed to Kingston challenging Claudio Castagnoli for the Ring of Honor World Championship at Supercard of Honor on Friday, March 31, in Los Angeles.
