Will Ospreay Pulled From 3/15 NJPW Event Due To Shoulder Injury

Will Ospreay is dealing with a shoulder injury.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling announced the news on on March 15 and stated that the injury occurred during Ospreay’s New Japan Cup second-round match against Mark Davis on March 13. NJPW noted that Ospreay is not cleared to compete for the March 15 event in Okayama; as a result, he will be replaced by Jeff Cobb in a six-man tag team match at the show. Ospreay was set to team up with Dabvis and Fletcher to face Hirooki Goto, YOSHI-HASHI & Ryohei Oiwa.

With his win over Davis at the March 13 show, Ospreay advanced to the third round of the New Japan Cup, where he is set to face EVIL. The match is scheduled for March 17.
