Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre will challenge for the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship at NXT Stand & Deliver.
On the March 14 episode of WWE NXT, Dawn and Fyre defeated Tatum Paxley & Ivy Nile and former champions Katana Chance and Kayden Carter in a three-way match to determine the challengers at the premium live event. In the end, Paxley first refused to tag in before she fully turned on Nile, as she attacked her partner. Dawn and Fyre then scored the victory, and WWE confirmed that they will challenge Fallon Henley and Kiana James for the titles at NXT Stand & Deliver.
Henley and James won the titles by defeating Carter and Chance at NXT Vengeance Day. Tensions have been rising between the duo, as Henley suspected that James was cheating on her friend, Brooks Jensen. Henley confirmed these suspicions on the March 14 episode of NXT, where she found out that James had a date with “Sebastian.” Meanwhile, James was upset because Henley did not come to the ring for her match, and she got attacked by Dawn and Fyre.
