MLW Underground Results – March 14, 2023
MLW Underground kicked off with Real1 being rolled out in a wheelchair. He runs down Microman and Mance Warner. Real1 said next time he gets hit by a car in Major League Wrestling, he’s calling the cops.
He’s interrupted by Mance Warner, who said he was brought here to fight. Before anything can happen between Warner and Real1, they are interrupted by a quick video package for Rickey Shane Page, who is part of the gas mask stable run by Raven. Page will take on Warner in the opening contest as Real1 joins the commentary team.
Rickey Shane Page defeated Mance Warner in a hardcore match
- Real1 got out of his wheelchair and cracked his crutch over Mance Warner’s back. This led to Rickey Shane Page hitting a chokeslam to pick up the pinfall victory.
They cut backstage to John Hennigan, Sam Adonis, and Taya Valkyrie making fun of Billie Starkz, who’s in the middle of a photo shoot. Starkz finally stands up for herself against the trio and gets Valkyrie to agree to defend her MLW World Women’s Featherweight Championship against her on a future show.
Back at ringside, Cesar Duran comes out to introduce La Estrella, who Duran claims he’s about to win the MLW World Middleweight Championship.
Lince Dorado defeated La Estrella to retain the MLW World Middleweight Championship
- After interference from Cesar Duran, Microman comes out with a kendo stick to neutralize Duran at ringside. This allows Lince Dorado to hit the Shooting Star Press on La Estrella to retain the MLW World Middleweight Championship.
It’s announced that Alex Kane will face Davey Boy Smith Jr. on MLW Underground in two weeks. They follow that announcement by saying that Taya Valkyrie will defend her MLW World Women’s Featherweight Championship against Billie Starkz next week.
Court Bauer holds a contract signing on the stage for next week’s MLW World Heavyweight Championship match between Alex Hammerstone and Jacob Fatu. After the contract is signed, Hammerstone accuses Bauer of him not wanting him to be champion. He insults Fatu and his family, and that leads to a brawl between the two men that need to be separated by referees and security.
Backstage Cesar Duran is kidnapped by his own henchmen. They place a bag on his head and drag him down a hallway.
The Samoan SWAT Team defeated Hustle & Power to become the new MLW World Tag Team Champions
- EJ Nduka tries to use powder to blind Lance Anoa’i, but he gets it kicked back in his face. This leads to Lance Anoa’i hitting the big splash off the top rope onto Nduka to secure the pinfall victory as the Samoan SWAT Team becomes the new MLW World Tag Team Champions.
Jacob Fatu comes out with their family to celebrate the Samoan SWAT Team’s big win as MLW Underground goes off the air.
