WWE NXT Superstar Dragon Lee has made his official in-ring debut for the company as he wrestled at the March 11 live event in St. Petersburg, Florida.
His opponent was Eddie Thorpe (Karl Fredericks). This marks the first time Dragon Lee has stepped in the ring for WWE as it took him several months to get visa issues sorted out. He appeared in the crowd at NXT Roadblock last week after signing with WWE back in December.
Lee has a prestigious wrestling history, appearing for companies including New Japan Pro Wrestling, Ring of Honor, CMLL, AAA, and even AEW. He teamed with his brother Rush and Andrade El Idolo in the 2022 Trios Tournament before they turned on him after losing.
There is no word on when his TV debut will happen or what his creative direction is at this time.
