Chris Hero has returned to the wrestling world.
Hero announced that he was West Coast Pro Wrestling’s new matchmaker at the West Coast Pro “West Coast Best Coast” event on March 4.
Hero has been mostly absent from the wrestling world since WWE released him in a wave of cuts in April 2020. The former Kassius Ohno last wrestled on NXT UK in April 2020; the match was taped in March 2020.
Since his release, Hero has somewhat remained involved with wrestling by hosting seminars. He also worked backstage at some ROH shows prior to Tony Khan’s acquisition of the company.
