In-Ring Segment: The Bloodline

Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, Jimmy Uso, and Solo Sikoa make their way to the ring. Reigns tells Washington D.C., to acknowledge him. Cody Rhodes’ music hits as soon as he gets the line out. Reigns doesn’t looks annoyed. Contrary to what Heyman may have told Reigns, Rhodes says he’s not here to invade. He just wants to have a conversation. So there is no need for Reigns’ to have his compatriots in the ring with him… unless Reigns thinks he needs them. Reigns chuckles and tells the Bloodline to leave. Reigns asks if that makes Rhodes more comfortable. Rhodes may not like this, but he will do it anyway.

Reigns lays both belts down in the middle of the ring. Reigns asks Rhodes, “so what do you want to talk about?” Rhodes chuckles. Rhodes puts over Reigns’ title reign and skill. People think Reigns is unbeatable. Rhodes on the other hand has made a habit of beating the odds. Beating Reigns may be impossible, but not for him. Reigns laughs and says Rhodes is good. Reigns asks if Rhodes has been practicing that all week. He wants to switch gears for a second. Reigns points at the WWE Championship and ask Rhodes if he’s won that one.

The crowd “oohs” at Reigns’ savage burn. Reigns then asks if Rhodes has ever even competed for either title. Has Rhodes ever even been in the main event of WrestleMania before? Reigns’ has done all that. He’s the most important WrestleMania main-eventer of all time. He’s been groomed for this since birth. He was groomed by his father… and Rhodes’ father. That line stung Rhodes. Reigns wants to talk about Rhodes’ dad now. Reigns tells Rhodes to calm down, he would never disrespect Dusty Rhodes. He does a Dusty impression.

Dusty told Reigns that he would main event WrestleMania one day. They spoke all the time about everything. Reigns tells Rhodes that with everything he shared with Dusty, Rhodes never came up once. Maybe Dusty talked about his son with Seth, Kevin, or Becky, but never with Reigns. Reigns misses Dusty. Reigns tells Rhodes that if there is anything that Dusty didn’t teach him, Reigns will.

Rhodes laughs and says Reigns didn’t send Heyman to get in his head on Raw, he sent him to tell him the truth. If this is true. That means Reigns is the son Dusty always wanted. If that’s true, that changes everything. This isn’t just a dream or an urge Rhodes has to finish. Reigns says he doesn’t exist, but he has to exist. The only way he can exist is by beating Reigns at WrestleMania. Rhodes shakes Reigns’ hand and says may the better man win. Reigns laughs and walks away.

Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley w/Dominik Mysterio

Ripley takes control early. After the break, Morgan hits a codebreaker off the top. Morgan tries Oblivion but Ripley counters. Morgan tries another diving codebreaker, but Ripley reverses it into a powerbomb. Riptide by Ripley. Ripley traps Morgan in the Prisim Lock. Ripley puts her knee on the back of Morgan’s head to add even more pressure. Morgan submits.

Winner- Rhea Ripley

Santos Escobar vs. Dominik Mysterio w/Rhea Ripley

Escobar comes to the ring carrying the mask Rey Mysterio gave him. As soon as the bell rings, Dominik retreats to the ropes. When the referee tells Escobar to get back, Dominik dropkicks Escobar. Escobar responds with a dropkick of his own. Escobar traps Dominik in the corner and screams at him about respecting his father’s legacy. The mask Rey Mysterio gave him is sitting on the ring post. Dominik screams, “No!” and spits on the mask.

Surfboard stretch by Escobar. Dominik trips Escboar into the ropes. Escobar falls out of the ring. Dominik lands a dive. After the break, both men bang heads. Dominik pulls out a pair of brass knucks. The referee tries to take them. In the confusion, Ripley pulls Escobar out of the ring and drops him with Ripetide. Ripley sends Escobar back into the ring. Dominik hits a frog splash for the win.

Winner- Dominik Mysterio

Dominik takes the Mysterio mask off the ring post and rips it as he walks up the ramp. Escobar is livid. Rey Mysterio’s music hits. Mysterio walks out on the stage and demands Dominik give him the mask. Dominik dares his father to hit him. Mysterio refuses. Dominik and Ripley start to leave. As Mysterio turns around, Dominik clubs him from behind.

In-Ring Segment: Drew McIntyre

McIntyre says he wants Gunther at WrestleMania. He officially calls Gunther out. Sheamus interrupts, and he’s pissed. Sheamus is mad because McIntyre knows he wants the Intercontinental Championship. McIntyre is a backstabbing bastard. McIntyre says friends tell each other the truth, so here it goes: Sheamus had two chances, and he lost. LA Knight interrupts. He wants the IC title. Sheamus and McIntyre are totally ignoring Knight. The New Day’s music hits.

Kingston and Wood walk down to the ring. They are here to apologize for Knight. Knight has been out here for the past two weeks begging for a WrestleMania match. Kingston says Knight can’t even win a match on SmackDown. Karrion Kross and Scarlett walk to the ring. Knight attacks Kingston. Everyone brawls. McIntyre lands a dive that takes out Woods, Kingston, and Knight. Kross rolls into the ring and tosses Sheamus into the ring post.

Earlier today, Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey got into a brawl with Tegan Nox and Natalya. Rousey’s arm was injured during the brawl.

Shayna Baszler w/Ronda Rousey vs. Tegan Nox w/Natalya

Nox is all over Baszler. Nox lands a head kick. Baszler catches a kick from Nox and slams her face into the mat. Baszler stomps on Nox’ elbow. Nox lands a few strikes. Baszler tries to snap Nox’ arm. Rousey cheers outside the ring and yells for Baszler to break Nox’s arm. Nox rolls up Baszler. Baszler kicks out. Baszler obliterates Nox with a knee to the face. Armbar by Baszler. Nox taps out immediately.

Winner- Shayna Baszler

After the match, Nox is crying. As the referee checks on her, she says she thinks her arm is broken.

Backstage, Gunther complains about Adam Pearce not identifying his challenger at WrestleMania. His only concern is not having a worthy opponent at WrestleMania.

In-Ring Segment: Bobby Lashley

Lashley says Bray Wyatt told him to run, but he doesn’t run. Wyatt wants to play his kid’s games, but he doesn’t play games. He came to SmackDown since Wyatt wouldn’t show his face on Raw. Uncle Howdy’s music plays. Howdy attacks Lashley from behind. Howdy hits the ropes, but Lashley surprises him with a spinebuster. Lashley sets up a Spear. The lights go out. When they come back up, Howdy is gone.

Sami Zayn vs. Solo Sikoa w/Jimmy Uso

Zayn runs to the ring and attacks before the bell rings. Jimmy tries to get involved but is sent over the top, just like his brother Sikoa. Dive by Zayn. The bell rings, and the match officially starts. Zayn sends Sikoa over the top again. After a distraction from Jimmy, Sikoa body blocks Zayn. Zayn goes down. Sikoa proceeds to toss Zayn into the ring post over and over again. When Sikoa is finally satisfied, he launches Zayn into the timekeeper’s area.

After the break, Sikoa is beating down Zayn. Sikoa sends Zayn into the ropes. Slingshot leapfrog by Zayn. SIkoa walks right into a lariat by Zayn. Zayn hits the ropes and eats a nasty Samoan drop. Hip attack by Sikoa. Zayn fires up and tries a blue thunder bomb. He can’t get Sikoa off the mat. Sikoa misses an attack in the corner. Blue thunder bomb by Zayn. Sikoa falls into the corner. Zayn tries the Helluva Kick, but Jimmy pulls Sikoa out of the way. Sikoa hits the Samoan Spike and pins Zayn.

Winner- Solo Sikoa

After the match, Sikoa and Jimmy beat down Zayn. Jimmy and Sikoa wrap a chair around Zayn’s neck. Jimmy stops Sikoa from attacking. He says he wants to do it. Before Jimmy can land his hip attack, Zayn gets up and tosses the chair into Sikoa’s face. Jimmy charges in and eats a Helluva Kick. Sikoa gets to his feet, Zayn scurries away into the crowd. Backstage, Reigns isn’t happy watching what just transpired.
