Eddie Kingston: AEW Doesn’t Need Me, I Feel Free In ROH

Eddie Kingston feels free in Ring of Honor.

Kingston stated that he “quit” AEW following the March 1 episode of AEW Dynamite. The next day, he appeared on the premiere episode of ROH Wrestling on HonorClub and confronted ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli.

In a tweet on March 3, Kingston reflected on his move to ROH and noted that he felt free from snakes, liars, and “disgusting ego maniacs that are all for self and not for the company. Kingston wrote that it felt good to be with men and women who want to do their jobs, and he remembered when AEW used to be like that.

Kingston then tweeted that anger was the only way he knew how to act when his heart was broken. He stated that AEW doesn’t need him, and he snapped. He wrote that ROH needs him to least fight “the big Swiss champ.” Kingston also stated that he is trying to mature.

In another tweet, Kingston asked some rhetorical questions; he wondered how he was supposed to feel when he feels like he was unwanted. “The Mad King” stated that he fights and asks questions later, so he’s at ROH to fight and win the world title.
