Ariane Andrew offers an update on Naomi, also known as Trinity Fatu.
Naomi has been absent since she and Sasha Banks walked out of the May 16 episode of WWE RAW. They were stripped of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship and suspended indefinitely. Banks left WWE and signed with New Japan Pro-Wrestling, as she made her debut for the company at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17. Meanwhile, Naomi’s status has remained unclear.
Andrew, who once worked as Naomi’s fellow Funkadactyl Cameron in WWE, was asked about her former partner during a Golden Ring Collectibles signing. She responded by noting that Naomi is recovering from shoulder surgery.
“She is recovering from shoulder surgery,” Andrew said. “I want her to answer the question for herself. I know she’s recovering from shoulder surgery. I’m super proud of her, that’s my sister from another mister. You’ll have to ask her for yourself how she’s feeling, see if her shoulder is feeling good because she’s recovering right now.
