Dominik Mysterio says The Judgment Day is a family.

Dominik joined The Judgment Day after he turned on his father, Rey Mysterio, at WWE Clash at the Castle 2022. He has been featured as a member of the group, which also includes Finn Balor, Damian Priest, and Rhea Ripley, ever since.

Speaking with Alex McCarthy for Inside The Ropes, Dominik discussed working with his Judgment Day stablemates. He first praised Ripley and described how they have become friends. He also noted that they have fun when they’re performing in front of the crowd.

“She’s the best,” Dominik said. “She’s been super helpful to everything that I’ve done, especially trying to help me understand. Everyone has been, but especially with her, our connection, we’re the same age, it kind of just worked. It just helped that we got along, we became friends. It’s like, let’s just go out there and have some fun, and that’s what we do. We literally go out there and we have fun. ”

Dominik went on to note that he keeps getting closer with the Judgment Day. He stated that they’re a family now, and they hang out with each other.

“I would talk to [Balor], it was very formal, and I felt like we were friends,” Dominik said. “But after everything that went down, and then joining the Judgment Day, I’ve only gotten closer, not only in-ring but outside of the ring, with every member of the Judgment Day. Not only Rhea, but Priest and Finn as well. If we’re all riding together, we all hang out together, we all go eat afterwards. It’s like we’re literally a family. We were stuck at the airport before going to Canada last week, and it was all four of us together, just hanging out. It just works. I don’t know how it happened, but the melting pot of an Irishman, a Puerto Rican, an Australian and a Mexican just worked.”

Dominik continues to feud with Rey Mysterio, and he confronted his father on the March 10 episode of WWE SmackDown. Catch up on our coverage here.
