Gail Kim Shoots Down The Idea Of A Last Rodeo, But She’s Open To One More Match

Gail Kim isn’t completely ready to close the door on her in-ring career just yet.

IMPACT Wrestling Hall of Famer Gail Kim was a recent guest on The Ten Count with Steve Fall to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When asked about the possibility of her having her own “Last Rodeo” like Mickie James recently had, Kim doesn’t think her body could hold up to do something like that.

“I don’t know if I could do what Mickie [James] did in terms of go through all those matches to get to the top and prove myself because I don’t know if my body would hold up for that,” Gail Kim admitted. “But never say never to a dream — like a three-way or a dream four-way of all these different women from different promotions.”

When pressed as to who she’d like to have involved in this dream match, Kim played coy and said it should come down to whoever the fans want.

“You just never know, whoever the fans would want,” Gail Kim teased. “You never say never, right? The Last Rodeo, maybe last one match but not all those matches like she had, yeah. Mickie’s a beast. She did it; she proved it to herself and everyone.”

Gail Kim has addressed a potential return to the ring in the past, telling SEScoops’ Scott Fishman that she’d be open to it under certain circumstances. If she returned for one match, Gail would want it to be a multi-women matches but noted that it wouldn’t be a tag match. “It would be a dream match of all dream matches,” she told Fishman. “That’s what I ultimately, probably, would like.”
