Mercedes Moné discusses her time on “The Mandalorian” and her future goals in Hollywood.

Mercedes Moné, formerly known as Sasha Banks in WWE isn’t only looking to take over the squared circle. The former WWE Women’s Champion also plans on making all of the moné that Hollywood wants to offer her. Previously, Mercedes had established herself as a part of the Star Wars universe via her role as Koska Reeves in the Disney+ series “The Mandalorian.

Speaking with Scott Fishman of TV Insider, Mercedes opened up about being part of the Disney series and her excitement to watch the next season as a fan.

“I can’t believe I’m in two of the greatest universes ever. Wrestling universe and Star Wars universe have the craziest and best fans of all-time. To have no one, but six Star Wars of myself and was only in one season thus far. I don’t know. It’s still surreal. The next season I can’t wait to watch as a fan,” she said.

Discussing the future of her acting career, Mercedes says that she wants to see her career continue to grow and that she wants to be able to continue wrestling while pursuing the growth of her Hollywood career at this time.

“I want to see that keep growing. I’ve gotten a lot of amazing opportunities last year in film and television.  I think my Hollywood career is just beginning. In mixing that with wrestling, I want to be able to do both. It’s the perfect time for that. I say keep on watching,” said Mercedes.

As for a potential dream role in the world of acting, the former Sasha Banks says she would like to join fellow wrestlers Dwayne Johnson, Roman Reigns, and John Cena and become a part of the Fast & Furious series.

“Besides freakin’ Star Wars, I would love to be in a movie,” she said. “I would love to put Koska Reeves in a Mandalorian movie. That would be incredible. I would love to be in any type of series like Fast & Furious, anything my brother would like. He likes action movies.”

For now, Mercedes Moné is living her greatest wrestling dream as the brand-new IWGP Women’s Champion. She captured the title by defeating KAIRI at NJPW Battle in the Valley. Now, she hopes to take that title worldwide.
