Keith Lee is back at All Elite Wrestling, and he’s got a bit of a new look.
During the main event of Friday’s episode of AEW Rampage, Lee returned to the ring for the first time in nearly two months, saving Dustin Rhodes from a brutal assault. Following a match that ended in a disqualification, the duo of Swerve Strickland and Parker Boudreaux placed Rhodes’ head on a cement block and set him up for a huge top-row stomp, but out of nowhere, Lee’s music began playing.
A shocked Strickland and Boudreaux watched as Lee came running down to the ring, complete with a new, grayed hair look, and took out both Mogul Affiliates, before Boudreaux took a huge slam to allow Strickland to escape in shock. The night ended with Lee helping up a bloodied Rhodes and staring down his former friend.
The last time we’d seen Lee in the ring prior to this, it was late December, when Strickland turned on Lee and ambushed him with his new allies Trench and Boudreaux. Since then, Lee has been absent, but clearly biding his time to get back at the group.
