Sami Zayn is taking in the scenery ahead of WWE Elimination Chamber.
Zak Ralph of Love Wrestling spoke with Sami Zayn ahead of WWE Elimination Chamber in Montreal. Zayn spoke about how the story has progressed and he says that if you look at the entire picture, they are at a good place heading into the Elimination Chamber event.
“On the one hand, it’s sort of… it feels like the next logical step. When you look at it on a week-to-week level, or a month-to-month level, you follow the story with The Bloodline and you see how it’s progressed, it’s like naturally, that’s where you go next. But when you stop and kinda zoom out and look back on a longer timeline, to your point, from day one, there’s a 13-year-old kid going to the Bell Centre watching Bret [Hart] and Shawn [Michaels] in that arena and to now 25 years later be at the center of a match that almost has that same level of excitement and anticipation, that’s when it gets surreal. So doing these kind of media hits and driving around the city, it forces you to take inventory and gives you that perspective of like, ‘Wow, this is insane!’ And even though a couple of weeks ago, there’s this and this and Montreal — now we’re taking a breath and looking around and it’s pretty special.”
