The Undertaker: It’s Not Fair To Compare Bray Wyatt To Me, He’s Doing His Own Thing

The Undertaker reflects on his moment with Bray Wyatt on the January 31 episode of WWE RAW and reveals what he told him.

Wyatt and The Undertaker are known as two of the most supernatural characters in WWE history, so they are often linked together. They memorably feuded and clashed at WrestleMania 31, where “The Phenom” emerged victorious. The Undertaker retired in 2020 and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2022. Wyatt was released in 2021, but the company brought him back the following year. He returned at WWE Extreme Rules, and he has since reestablished himself as a force to be reckoned with. At WWE RAW XXX, Wyatt came to the ring when LA Knight confronted “The Deadman.” After Wyatt attacked Knight, The Undertaker whispered something in his ear.

Speaking on Tim and Friends, The Undertaker was asked about what he said to Wyatt, as many fans have buzzed about the moment the two stars shared. He responded by highlighting the way their characters are often compared before he noted that Wyatt is doing his own thing. The WWE Hall of Famer stated that he let Wyatt know he can always reach out to talk.

“They’re very interested, and I knew that they would be when I did it,” The Undertaker said. “But that’s the moment that Bray and I shared. There’s obviously a huge amount of comparisons between his character and mine. I think he’s his own guy, he’s his own character. I don’t think it’s fair to him to compare what he does to what I did. In the big scheme of things, obviously it’s kind of in that same supernatural genre, but it’s 2023, and he’s doing his own thing.

“I can appreciate, I can see what he’s trying to do. I just let him know too that my phone’s always on and if he needs to talk to me about things or run things by me, that’s cool. I would be more than glad to share my experiences with him and hopefully shine some light on maybe questions that he has moving forward. So yeah, it was a cool moment, and it did exactly what I thought it would do.”

The legend will host another UNDERTAKER 1 deadMAN SHOW on February 16 in Montreal ahead of WWE Elimination Chamber.
