The Indie Hall of Fame is returning for its second year, with Game Changer Wrestling announcing that Christopher Daniels will the first inductee of the 2023 Class. He will be inducted by his longtime tag team partner, Frankie Kazarian.
Daniels is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling, but has been a longtime mainstay in the world of independent wrestling. Past stints for Daniels include appearances in UPW, NWA, ECWA, 3PW, DEFY, and many more. He continues to compete for DEFY Wrestling and other promotions. Daniels also had successful runs with TNA/IMPACT Wrestling and Ring of Honor. He is a former ROH World Champion, and a three-time TNA X-Division Champion. Daniels was also an eight-time team champion in TNA, and a four-time tag team champion in ROH.
The Indie Hall of Fame was initially established in 2022 by GCW, and saw Jerry Lynn, Homicide, Ruckus, Dave Prazak, Tracy Smothers, and LuFisto inducted as the first class.
In 2023, the Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame ceremony will be held on Sunday, April 2, at 12 p.m. EST, in The Millennium Biltmore in Los Angeles, California, live from the site of WrestleCon. Tickets for the events are available to buy now, including VIP table seating.
