Eddie Kingston is not a fan of MJF.
“The Mad King” is known for speaking his mind and not holding back when he does. He has been critical of Bryan Danielson and other people he doesn’t like; he previously called Danielson a “piece of sh*t”, and now he has shared a similar message regarding MJF, the reigning AEW World Champion.
Speaking on WTF with Marc Maron, MJF came up in the conversation, and Kingston called him a “piece of shit”. He stated that he didn’t know why MJF is the champion.
“He’s a real piece of shit. I’m just going to put that out there. I don’t know why he’s the champion. He’ll cry about it to Tony (Khan), then I’ll get an email from Megha (Parekh) and HR, ‘you can’t be calling our world champion a piece of shit.’ Well, if he doesn’t act like a piece of shit, I won’t call him that,”
Maron noted that being a “piece of shit” is part of MJF’s character, and Kingston responded by saying that MJF acts the same way backstage. He called MJF a low life and a know-it-all.
“Not backstage to the boys. He’s a low life,” Kingston said. “He’s a young kid who thinks he knows it all and he doesn’t. F— em. I don’t give a shit. What are they gonna do, fire me? Okay. I’ll work somewhere and make money.” (Transcribed by Jeremy Lambert of Fightful)
Kingston then commented on the buzz surrounding what he had to say about MJF. He noted that MJF isn’t the only person he doesn’t like. Kingston then had a message for anyone who isn’t a good person in his eyes.

MJF will face Konosuke Takeshita in an AEW World Championship Eliminator on the February 8 episode of AEW Dynamite.
