Becky Lynch was “The Man” with a plan on Monday night, and her strategy paid off.
In the main event of the February 6 episode of WWE RAW, Lynch took on Bayley in a Steel Cage Match. The bout was originally scheduled for WWE RAW XXX on January 23, but a pre-match attack by Bayley and her Damage CTRL stablemates, IYO SKY and Dakota Kai, led to the match being called off before it even began.
Knowing she was outmanned, Lynch apparently phoned an old foe. In the closing moments of the match, WWE Hall of Famer Lita ran to the ring to make it a fair fight after Kai and SKY repeatedly got involved in the contest. Lynch then pinned Bayley with the Man-handle Slam to win the had-fought bout.

Lita previously returned to WWE for a brief run in 2022; she competed in the Women’s Royal Rumble, and Lynch defended the RAW Women’s Championship against her at WWE Elimination Chamber 2022.
