Cody Rhodes won the Men’s Royal Rumble this past weekend, and his WrestleMania 39 opponent is now set after he called out Roman Reigns at WWE Raw.

During tonight’s episode, Rhodes kicked off the show, detailing his historic comeback to the WWE and subsequent victory at the Royal Rumble. Rhodes made it known from the start that his eyes were set on Reigns’ WWE Universal Championship, just as he had promised weeks ago, and he said that the next 60 days might be nothing to Reigns, but the lead-up to WrestleMania 39 is everything to him.

Shortly after the segment, WWE confirmed the match, although they didn’t specify which of the two nights of WrestleMania 39 would see “The American Nightmare” step up against “The Tribal Chief.”

“From the unstoppable to the Superstar who would simply not be stopped, Rhodes returned to WWE and made it clear that his one and only focus was to become WWE Champion,” read WWE’s announcement. “After battling through a gruesome pectoral injury to defeat Seth “Freakin” Rollins in a Hell in a Cell Match and taking some time to rehabilitate, The American Nightmare returned to win the Royal Rumble and now sets his sights on toppling Reigns to finally capture the biggest prize in WWE.”
