Bray Wyatt unleashed his inner demons at WWE’s Royal Rumble, defeating LA Knight in the first-ever Pitch Black Match.
The match, which wasn’t so much “pitch black” but instead more of a neon-soaked bout, saw both superstars dressed in glow-in-the-dark costumes, with Wyatt painting his face and arms in a skeletal getup. The match itself didn’t last long, with Wyatt ending things early with a Sister Abigail. However, afterwards, things turned sinister.
Following the end of the match, Wyatt went into the corner, and popped back up wearing a red mask. He then chased LA Knight out of the ring and up to the ramp, where he knocked out the superstar with a Mandible Claw.
Then, from above Wyatt on the scaffolding, Uncle Howdy appeared, before plunging himself through LA Knight into a fiery burst. From where Howdy was, the Firefly Funhouse group of characters appeared, all watching with Wyatt.
