Bray Wyatt Believes Previous Iterations Of His Character Are Gone, The Fiend Died At WrestleMania

Bray Wyatt doesn’t seem keen on revisiting some of his past characters in WWE and is looking to move forward instead.

Ahead of the WWE Royal Rumble premium live event, Bray Wyatt sat down with Ryan Satin of WWE on FOX to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When asked if he has any unfinished business with Alexa Bliss, Wyatt took the opportunity to reveal that two of his most popular past personas won’t be making a return.

“I’ll drop some knowledge here. And yeah, I think people, I don’t know how they’ll react to this now,” Bray Wyatt teased. “But two things. I’ll get to Alexa. But for me, the Hawaiian shirt of Bray, who he was, he can’t be without Brodie [Lee] to me. So I can’t be that without Brodie. It’s just not the same. It’s disrespectful to my best friend. It just can’t be without him.

“But The Fiend died that day in Tampa, Florida, at WrestleMania to me. Yeah, and again, The Fiend is not just a goof in a mask like people think; that’s just ridiculous. But to me, it was so much more. And once you see where all these things come from. How they sculpt me, how they molded me as a human being. He died that day to me, and it can never be again. It’s gone.

“So again, I don’t know how people will react to that. But in my head, it’s gone forever. And Alexa, to me, is kind of like the last piece of that, right? She was the last shining thing in that, his last happy moment. You can look into that however you want. But it sucks, man. But that’s the way it is.”
