Where in the world is Kenny Omega?
Omega and The Young Bucks captured the AEW Trios Championships for the second time on the January 11 episode of AEW Dynamite, but The Best Bout Machine hasn’t been seen on All Elite Wrestling since. This has caused worry among some fans that Omega might have gotten injured again during the ladder match, but that doesn’t appear to be the case.
According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), Kenny Omega is dealing with visa issues that have prevented him from appearing for the company. It was noted that Omega wanted to be at last night’s show to pay tribute to Jay Briscoe, but his ongoing visa issues have prevented that.
Sapp doesn’t specify how long it might take for Omega to resolve these visa issues, but it comes at a terrible time, right after The Elite were able to regain the AEW Trios Titles.
