Report: Vince McMahon Sued By More WWE Investors

Vince McMahon is reportedly facing another lawsuit.

McMahon returned to the WWE Board of Directors on January 6, and he was voted the Executive Chairman of the Board on January 10. He previously retired amid allegations of hush money and sexual misconduct on July 22, 2022.

Bloomberg reports that shareholders have filed another lawsuit against McMahon. The suit stems from the allegations that McMahon paid to cover up sexual harassment allegations; in the new suit, the investors are seeking to “sever their case from the consolidated action”. If they do, they could “keep the bylaw-related claims alive, interfering with any fee request.”

Carole Casale and Chrystal Lavalle are the investors behind the suit, which is not publicly available.

As previously reported, both Scott Fellows and the Police and Fire Retirement System of Detroit have filed lawsuits against McMahon and claimed that he “breached fiduciary duties as controlling stockholder”, as they claimed that, with the way he returned, McMahon aimed to “impose his personal will on WWE and its [board] by purporting to adopt a package of invalid and inequitable bylaw amendments that would hamstring the Board from making critical business decisions.”

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
