Kota Ibushi expresses his interest in facing three popular WWE stars.
Ibushi, a former IWGP Heavyweight Champion, has been sidelined since October 2021; he suffered a dislocated shoulder in the G1 Climax 31 finals, where he lost to Kazuchika Okada. He continues to train and prepare for his potential return to the ring. Ibushi has wrestled all over the world, and while he likely has his sights set on some new match-ups, he’d also like to revisit some from the past.
Speaking with Dark Puroresu Flowsion, Ibushi was asked to name the three WWE stars he most wants to face. He responded by pointing to Sami Zayn, Finn Balor, and Shinsuke Nakamura, as he referenced the remarkable matches he previously had with each of them.
“Sami Zayn, Finn Balor, [and] Shinsuke Nakamura, I would like to work with these three someday. The reason is that I have had my best bouts with them in the past, so I would like to see the current chemistry between myself and them.”

Ibushi recently stated that his shoulder is “90% comeback.” More information is available here.
