Ashley Pugh, the wife of Jay Briscoe, shared an update on her personal Facebook page and asked for prayers for her children.
Jay Briscoe died as a result of a car accident in Laurel, Delaware on Tuesday night. Ashley Pugh shared a subsequent update on their daughters who were involved in the crash, noting that they both suffered serious injuries as a result.
“We need prayers! Gracie is on her way into surgery on her back. Jamin would want the whole world praying for his little girl,” Pugh wrote. “WE BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF PRAYER!! Pray for the doctors and everyone working on her! Pray for her precious legs to move again! Pray for Jayleigh who has some pretty serious injuries, but is stable and resting! Pray for Gannon waiting at home! Pray for strength for all of us! We have a long long road ahead of us!”
According to reports from local news and the Delaware State Police, 38-year-old Jay Briscoe (Jamin Pugh) was one of the people involved in a fatal car accident around 5:30 pm on Tuesday evening. A second unidentified person also died as a result of the crash; no other details about the accident have been released at this time.
The Laurel School District closed all schools on Wednesday and asked everyone to send their thoughts and prayers to the Pugh family at this time.
