Mike Bailey Says He Wants To Face Bryan Danielson And Ricochet, Discusses His Goals For 2023

Mike Bailey wants to share the ring with Ricochet and Bryan Danielson.

“Speedball” has established himself as one of the most renowned wrestlers in the world in recent years, especially since he arrived in IMPACT at Hard To Kill 2022. He has captured the prestigious IMPACT X-Division Championship, and he continues to shine on the independent scene. Bailey recently defeated Konosuke Takeshita to win the PWG Battle of Los Angeles tournament.

In an interview with Dark Puroresu Flowsion, Bailey was asked to name some of the fresh matches that are on his list. He responded by stating that he wants to face Kenny Omega again. As for opponents he has never shared the ring with, he made it clear that he wants to take on Ricochet and Bryan Danielson.

“I feel like in the past several years, I have wrestled a majority of the world’s best wrestlers so there are a ton of rematches that I really want,” Bailey said. “The main one behind against Kenny Omega. In terms of people I have never wrestled, Ricochet and I have crossed paths many times but never actually shared the ring. The top one is Bryan Danielson. I realize that this might never happen, but it’s definitely highest on the list for me.

Bailey also commented on his goals for 2023. He noted that his objective in 2022 was to establish himself as one of the bedt Western wrestlers in the world and put on great matches. With such a successful 2022, “Speedball” noted that he wants to make the new year even more impressive.

“My main goals for 2022 were to establish myself in the US as one of the best western wrestlers in the world and consistently put on matches of the highest level,” Bailey said. “I feel like I really set the bar high, so my main goal for this year is so make 2023 even more impressive than 2022.”
