Adam Cole is back, baybay.
During the January 11 episode of AEW Dynamite in Los Angeles, Tony Schiavone unexpectedly welcomed Adam Cole out to the ring. Cole, who’s been out of action since Forbidden Door in June, announced he has good and bad news. He noted that after the last several months, he has a newfound appreciation for both pro wrestling and for life.
Cole said he was “really banged up” with shoulder issues and back-to-back head injuries. He had numerous doctors visits, sleepless nights, and dizzy spells, among other hardships. Cole emotionally recalled the well-wishes he received from fans and expressed his gratitude before delivering the bad news. The bad news being for the AEW locker room because he is officially back. He declared that today is the day the “new Adam Cole” is born.
