The main event for NXT Vengeance Day is set.
During NXT New Year’s Evil on January 10, Bron Breakker beat Grayson Waller by count-out to retain the NXT Championship. The bottom rope came undone twice during the bout, leading to Waller not being able to use the rope to pull himself back in the ring before the ten-count.
Following those events, Shawn Michaels closed the show by sitting down with Breakker and Waller to announce that they will have a rematch inside a steel cage on February 4 at NXT Vengeance Day in Charlotte.
