The live crowd at PWG Battle of Los Angeles Night Two got a special surprise, as AEW’s Chris Jericho appeared at the show.
On January 8, PWG held the second consecutive night of its Battle of Los Angeles event at the Globe Theater in Los Angeles. The star-studded card included Mike Bailey and Konosuke Takeshita, and the shocking arrival of Jericho added an major name to the lineup.
Jericho, who wasn’t advertised for the show, but he teamed up with his Jericho Appreciation Society stablemates Daniel Garcia, Sammy Guevara, Angelo Parker, and Matt Menard to defeat Player Uno (Evil Uno), Jonathan Gresham, Kevin Blackwood, SB KENTo and Michael Oku.
The match marked Jericho’s first contest on an independent wrestling show in quite some time, dating back to his ways before WWE.
