Saraya has made her decision.
During the January 4 episode of AEW Dynamite, Saraya announced during an interview with Renee Paquette that she is selecting Toni Storm as her partner to take on Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter on January 11. Saraya had Storm and Hikaru Shida at her side for the interview as she sang the praises of both. She ultimately picked Storm, which left Shida visibly disappointed and Paquette puzzled.

Earlier in the night, Baker and Hayter participated in an interview with Tony Schiavone. Baker referred to herself as “the boss,” which seemed to point in the direction of Mercedes Moné potentially making her AEW debut, as heavily speculated. While Storm is now advertised as Saraya’s partner, the card is always subject to change.
Next week’s tag match will mark Saraya’s first match on Dynamite and her second overall AEW match following her in-ring return at Full Gear in November.
