Backstage, Zayn is with the Bloodline. Zayn asks Reigns if he was bothered by the crowd chanting for him last week. Reigns pauses and says no, how could anyone focus on anything but Zayn’s words last week? If Zayn brings that kind of energy, tonight Reigns won’t have to do anything at all.
Backstage, The New Day and the rest of the locker room make fun of Top Dolla for his botched dive last week. Ricochet joins in, and Dolla gets mad and pushes him. Woods and Kingston break it up.
In-Ring Segment: IMPERIUM
Kaiser puts over Gunther as the most dominant Intercontinental Champion ever. There is no man on SmackDown that can defeat him. A video plays detailing all the men he has defeated. Braun Strowman interrupts. Strowman points out that he wasn’t in Gunther’s video. Maybe there isn’t a man on Smackdown who can defeat him, but how about a monster? Gunther and his crew try to leave. Strowman says he wasn’t asking. He’s telling. Strowman beats up Kaiser and Vinci.

Gunther tries a chop, but Strowman blocks it and levels Strowman. All of IMPERIUM is outside the ring. Strowman runs over Kaiser and Vinci. Gunther moves out of the way and sends Strowman crashing through the timekeeper’s area. Strowman gets beat with a chair. Gunther traps Strowman in an armlock. Kaiser and Vinci keep officials and referees from getting in the ring to break it up. Ricochet hits the ring with a chair to make the save.
Kevin Owens and John Cena vs. Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn w/Paul Heyman
Owens and Zayn start the match. Zayn springboards off the bottom rope and leaps over Owens. Owens runs over Zayn and lands a senton. Zayn stuns Owens on the top rope. Zayn tries a suplex, but Owens counters and suplexes him on the top rope. Owens jaws at Zayn after busting his nose. Reigns asks for a tag. Zayn obliges. The crowd chants for Cena. Cena begs for a tag. Reigns tells Owens to tag in Cena. Owens reaches out to Cena only to get destroyed by a clothesline from Reigns. Rock Bottom by Reigns. Owens kicks out.

After the break, Zayn and Reigns are beating down Owens. Owens almost makes it to Cena for a tag. Reigns pulls Cena off the apron and goes upside his head. Zayn floors Cena with a Helluva Kick. Owens surprises Zayn with a popup powerbomb. Reigns breaks up the pin. Reigns tags in and eats a superkick from Owens. Owens crushes Reigns with a frog splash. Reigns kicks out. Reigns tries another powerbomb but Reigns counters with a Superman Punch.

Reigns tries a Spear, but Owens moves out of the way. Reigns eats the post. Cena gets back on the apron. Owens makes the tag. Cena drops both Reigns and Zayn. Cena tags in Owens, and they do a double five-knuckle shuffle. Cena AAs Reigns. Owens hits Zayn with the Stunner. Owens pins Zayn.
