On December 28, Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide presented its “Noche de Campeones” event at the Arena GNP in Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico.
Bandido, FTR, Hijo del Vikingo, and other stars competed on the show, which aired aired live on FITE TV.

- AAA Trios Tag Championship Match: NGD (Sanson, Cuartero & Forastero) (c) def. Willie Mack, Aramis & Myzteziz Jr
- Konnan announced that Sammy Guevera and Tay Melo had been stripped of the AAA World Mix Tag Team Championship.
- AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship Match: Flammer & Abismo Negro Jr def. Komander & Sexy Star II and Lady Shani & Octagon Jr to win the titles.
- Copa Mundo Imperial: Pagano def. Blue Demon Jr, Vampiro, Aerostar, Mr. Iguana, Murder Clown,Jessy Ventura, Panic Clown, Diva Salvaje, Parka Negra & Dave The Clown.
- Blue Demon Leyenda Azul Championship Match: Arez def. Villano III Jr & Black Taurus
- AAA Tag Team Championship Match: Hermanos Lee (Dragon Lee & Dralistico) def. FTR (Dax Hardwood & Cash Wheeler) (c)
- After the match, Dragon Lee announced that he signed with WWE.
- AAA Mega Championship Match: Hijo Del Vikingo (c) def. Bandido
