Alba Fyre will face Isla Dawn in an Extreme Resolution Match on the January 3 episode of WWE NXT.
On the December 27 episode of NXT, Fyre commented on her rivalry with Dawn and stated that her ancestors’ light burns brighter then Dawn’s darkness. She then announced that they will face off in an Anything Goes Match on the January 4 episode.
Dawn made her NXT debut by attacking Fyre on the November 15 episode of NXT. In doing so, she cost Fyre her Last Woman Standing Match against NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose. The two rivals continued to clash over the next few weeks, and Dawn defeated Fyre when they finally faced off at NXT Deadline. Dawn later attacked Fyre and smashed her hand when it was trapped in the steel steps with a baseball bat on the December 20 episode.
Elsewhere on the show, Trick Williams will face Axiom, and Carmelo Hayes will face Apollo Crews. Hayes’ match with Crews could substantially impact the title picture, as both men have their sights set on a match against NXT Champion Bron Breakker. Crews unsuccessfully challenged Breakker for the gold at NXT Deadline.
Plus, as confirmed during the December 27 episode, Breakker will appear on a special edition of The Grayson Waller Effect ahead of their championship match on NXT New Year’s Evil.
