Bray Wyatt has returned to the ring.
WWE released the former Universal Champion on July 31, 2021. He was largely absent from the wrestling world for the next several months, but he returned to the company at the Extreme Rules premium live event on October 8. Since his return, he has frequently appeared on WWE programming, as he often cuts promos on SmackDown. He has yet to wrestle on WWE TV, but he competed in his first match since his return at the WWE live event at Madison Square Garden on December 26.
According to fans at the venue, Wyatt faced fellow former world champion Jinder Mahal at the show.
