MLW Fusion Results – December 22, 2022
MLW Fusion kicked off with the commentary team running down tonight’s card before getting right into the action.
Mance Warner defeated Mads Krügger in a Tables Match
- While brawling on the ring apron, Mance Warner pokes Mads Krügger in the eyes before tossing him off the apron and through a table that was previously set up at ringside.
Warner got on the microphone afterward and said he was going to celebrate by drinking beer for the rest of the night.
Taya Valkyrie is interviewed outside to hype up her title defense in the main event of the show. She says the idea of Lady Flammer winning the championship from her tonight and taking it back to AAA is laughable.
Alex Kane hosts a Peach State Prize Fight
- Daniele Dentice D’Accadia answers the challenge. His task is to last five minutes in an exhibition with Kane without being pinned, knocked out, or having the referee stop the match. If successful, D3 will win $2,250. He was unsuccessful, as Alex hit the Mark of Kane to secure the pinfall victory before the time limit expired.
After the fight, Alex Kane gets a microphone and calls out another challenger. This brings out Davey Richards, who is stopped at ringside by the Bomaye Fight Club before he can enter the ring. Myron Reed lays Richard out with a high-risk maneuver before tossing him into the ring. Kane and Reed double-team Richards and leave him lying in the ring as they celebrate with his stolen Opera Cup.
We get another hype video for the return of Davey Boy Smith Jr. to Major League Wrestling.
MLW World Heavyweight Champion Alex Hammerstone cuts a promo addressing his current rivalry with EJ Nduka. Hammerstone said he’s going to give him the moment that he’s been looking for.
It was then announced that Hammerstone would defend his title against Nduka in a Last Man Standing match on the January 5 episode of MLW Fusion.
Taya Valkyrie defeated Lady Flammer to retain the MLW World Women’s Featherweight Championship
- Taya Valkyrie hits the Road to Valhalla on Lady Flammer to secure the pinfall victory.
Valkyrie celebrates in the ring with her title as MLW Fusion goes off the air.
