WWE Hall Of Famer Koko B. Ware Hospitalized With Unspecified Medical Issues

WWE Hall of Famer Koko B. Ware has been hospitalized.

The Wrestling Collection announced the news in a tweet and stated that Ware is dealing with unspecified medical issues at a facility in Mississippi. The Wrestling Collection is the company owned by Ted DiBiase Jr., and they developed Koko’s website, among other legends.

Ware wrestled for a number of promotions, including the Continental Wrestling Association, before he signed with WWE in 1986. He defeated stars like Harley Race (at a house show) and Nikolai Volkoff (on Saturday Night’s Main Event). Ware competed at WrestleMania III, where he lost to Butch Reed. He also had a memorable run as The Birdman, and he also teamed up with Owen Hart to form High Energy. Ware was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009. He continued to wrestle after he left WWE, and he retired in 2019.

WrestleZone sends its best wishes to Ware and hopes he has a speedy recovery.
