Former champions will collide on the December 19 episode of WWE RAW.
As announced in a commercial during the December 16 episode of WWE SmackDown, Bayley will face Becky Lynch in a singles match. The two stars have been at odds since SummerSlam, where Bayley returned and formed Damage CTRL alongside Dakota Kai and IYO SKY. The trio confronted RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair and Lynch after their title match. Damage CTRL took Lynch out with an attack on the following episode of WWE RAW. Lynch then returned and helped Belair’s team beat Damage CTRL, Rhea Ripley, and Nikki Cross in the Women’s WarGames Match at WWE Survivor Series.
Lynch and Damage CTRL have continued their rivalry since then. Kai and SKY cost Lynch her chance to win a shot at the RAW Women’s Championship, and “The Man” returned the favor by brawling with the duo during Bayley’s match Alexa Bliss on the December 12 episode.
As previously announced, Dexter Lumis will face The Miz in a Winner Takes All Ladder Match on Monday.
