Pearce walks into Reigns’ locker room. Heyman tells Pearce to book Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn against whatever partner he wants. Pearce asks if it would be tonight. Reigns and Heyman laugh. Pearce suggests the Royal Rumble. Heyman chimes in and suggest they do it live on the Dec 30th SmackDown, which takes place in Tampa, Florida.

Number One Contender’s Match: Legado del Fantasma vs. The Viking Raiders vs. Hit Row
The Viking Raiders dominate most of the match. Top Dolla clears the ring. Top Dolla tries a dive and gets caught in the ropes (he took a nasty spill). Zelina Vega hits the ring and takes Cruz over with a ranna. B-Fab rolls in the ring and boots Vega in the face. Valhalla runs over B-Fab. Vega lands a moonsault to the outside. Back in the ring, Hit Row hits their finish on Cruz for the win.

In-Ring Segment: The Bloodline
Reigns tells the Chicago crowd to acknowledge him. He hasn’t seen his Bloodline since WarGames. In case the WWE Universe didn’t know, they dominated WarGames. Reigns daps up Sikoa and the Usos. Reigns stops in front of Zayn and stares him down before giving him dap. Tonight was going to be a good night for Zayn but they have a problem. A KO problem. He’s stalking Zayn and won’t leave him alone. If he’s a problem for Zayn, he’s a problem for Reigns. They will team up against KO and a partner of his choosing. It doesn’t matter who KO picks.

They are going to smash them. Zayn says KO is insane. He’s KO’s only friend. Reigns’ demeanor changes. Zayn apologizes. He misspoke. John Cena appears on the ‘Tron and says he got a text from KO. KO reminded Cena he’s had a match in WWE every year for the last 20 years. His streak is about to be broken. KO asked Cena to team up with him on Dec 30th. Cena agrees. The Match is set. Kevin Owens and John Cena vs. Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn.
