Action Andretti won his AEW Dynamite debut in shocking fashion, and now he is “All Elite.”
During the December 14 episode of Dynamite, Andretti took on Chris Jericho in Jericho’s first bout since losing the ROH World Championship to Claudio Castagnoli. Jericho expected to make quick work of his relatively unknown opponent, but Andretti had other plans. He remained resilient against Jericho’s moves and even kicked out of the Codebreaker. In the end, Andretti landed a running Shooting Star Press for the three-count.
The upset victory is just the start for Andretti as Tony Khan has officially announced the newcomer has signed a contract with AEW.
Congratulations! It's official! @ActionAndretti is ALL ELITE!
