Marc Mero Reveals The Two Words He’d Say To Sable If He Saw Her Today

While Marc Mero‘s divorce from Sable in 2004 was a rough time in his life, he’s in a much better place today because of it.

Marc Mero was a recent guest on The Ten Count with Steve Fall to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When asked about his divorce from Sable, Mero expressed nothing but gratitude as it helped put him in the situation he is in his life right now.

“If I could ever say anything to her, it’s just two words. Thank you,” Marc Mero said. “If it wasn’t for that, I wouldn’t have this incredible life that I have today because I never would have been a speaker. I never would have gone down this route. So I think sometimes we live with bitterness, anger, or unforgiveness. Man, it’s just a cancer that destroys you.

“And people ask me how do you know you’ve forgiven someone, and I said it’s very easy. When someone mentions their name, you don’t get angry anymore. And I don’t; I wish her and Brock and her kids all the best in the world. There’s no bitterness or resentment. It’s like, wow, I have this incredible life right now. I have everything I’ve ever wanted in life and healthy; it’s crazy. I’m 62 years old now. I feel like a kid. No more [injuries]. My injuries are healed up. I mean, I can literally get back in the ring tomorrow and feel like I could still have a good match.”

When asked who he’d like to wrestle today if he were to return to the ring right now, Mero named several stars, including Seth Rollins, Bryan Danielson, and Chris Jericho.

“There’s some guys out there that are just tremendous workers,” Marc Mero began. “Seth Rollins, any of The Bloodline are fun. That is like one of the most entertaining things going on television right now, Sami Zayn; that whole crew, man, are just a lot of fun to watch. And then, over in AEW, you’ve got Daniel Bryan. Wow, what a worker he is, guys that I think I can have a tremendous match with.

“Even Chris Jericho, man. Just over the years, me and Chris were always in wrestling together but always a different company. So I never got to work with him. But guys that I got to work with that I’ve learned so much from him and were blessed to have hundreds of matches with I mean, you’re talking about Stone Cold Steve Austin. William Regal. Oh, gosh, Triple H and DDP.”
