Solo Sikoa Describes How His Character Has Been Different Since He Moved To The Main Roster

Solo Sikoa discusses his move to the WWE main roster and describes playing a totally different character.

Sikoa made his WWE debut on NXT Halloween Havoc 2021, and he quickly became a breakout star on the brand. He unsuccessfully challenged for the NXT North American Championship a few times before he moved to the main roster at WWE Clash at the Castle on September 3, 2022. There, he helped Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns defeat Drew McIntyre. In doing so, he joined The Bloodline, which also includes his brothers, Jimmy & Jey Uso. Since then, he has been featured on WWE TV as a member of the dominant stable.

Speaking with Josh Martinez on Superstar Crossover, Sikoa was asked to name the biggest challenge so far for his character, and he noted that playing a silent enforcer has been a substantial adjustment. The powerhouse stated that his NXT character is entirely different from the Solo Sikoa he has become since he joined The Bloodline.

“To stay quiet. Coming from NXT, it’s a big change. Especially when you came from NXT and you’re up here on the main roster, it’s kind of like a reset button,” Sikoa said. “What you’ve done down there, it’s cool and all, but what can you do up here? This is the big leagues. This is the deep end. They threw me in the deep end, and they were like, ‘Sink or swim.’ I feel like I was talking down there in NXT, but now I’m a whole different character. The Street Champion to now The Enforcer. I’m there, I’m ready to fight.

“Not that I wasn’t ready before in NXT, but now it’s like you come towards ‘The Tribal Chief’ or you come to The Bloodline, you about to get your ass dropped. I’m not gonna talk about it. I’m gonna be about it. But I just feel like the change in me, the way I carry myself, how I look, my persona, my persona, just everything, I feel like it’s different.”
