On December 11, New Japan Pro-Wrestling continued its World Tag League tournament with the ninth night of action from Acrye Himeji in Hyogo, Japan.
The event featured the last night of round robin action in the tournament and aired on NJPW World.
The results, courtesy of Fightful, are as follows:
- Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis def. Chase Owens & Bad Luck Fale via forfeit; Owens previously pulled out of the tournament.
- Bad Luck Fale def. Kosei Fujita

With their wins, Davis & Fletcher and Goto & YOSHI-HASHI clinched their spots in the tournament finals, which will be held on December 14. The winners will earn a shot at the IWGP Tag Team Championships at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17. FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) currently hold the gold.
