Saraya On William Regal Returning To WWE: We Know Why, And We’re Happy For Him

William Regal might be departing All Elite Wrestling, but Saraya just wants him to be happy.

All Elite Wrestling‘s Saraya recently sat down with Alistair McGeorge of METRO to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When asked about the reports of William Regal leaving All Elite Wrestling to return to WWE, Saraya said people backstage know why and they’re happy for him.

“Us behind the scenes know why, and we’re happy for him! Whether he’s going there or whatever, it doesn’t matter. We’re just happy with whatever he wants to do with his life,” Saraya said. “He’s at the age where he can do whatever he wants to without the internet deep diving into it, or everyone saying this, that and the other about him. Who cares? Let him be happy!”

Tony Khan would go on to explain the personal reasoning surrounding William Regal’s exit from All Elite Wrestling on the Ring of Honor Final Battle Media Call earlier this week. Saraya took the time in this interview how fantastic Khan is to work for and how open-minded he is about the way people think.

“Tony’s so fantastic too. He lets people do – not do whatever they want, but he’s so open-minded to how people think. If you’re having a bad day, he’ll be like, ‘take a day off,'” Saraya said. “If you only want to do a certain amount of time on your contract, you can totally do that. He doesn’t have you locked in where you have to stay for this amount of time, he’s great. I’m very lucky to have the boss that I have.”
