Ric Flair Explains Issues With Seth Rollins, Asks Why Anyone Listens To Vince Russo

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair doesn’t understand why anyone would listen to anything Vince Russo has to say.

Ric Flair was a guest today on Busted Open Radio with Dave LaGreca and Mark Henry to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When the topic of Vince Russo’s recent comments about Seth Rollins came up, The two-time WWE Hall of Famer was quick to bury Russo as only The Nature Boy can.

“Well, first of all, why would anybody listen to Vince Russo? It’s an attempt on his behalf to be relevant. To make a few bucks on his podcast,” Ric Flair said. “And Mark, this is where you and I might disagree. I know that Busted Open is a premier podcast, but I don’t — If I started thinking about Vince Russo in terms of taking anything he’s ever done and said seriously.

“Like when he buried me in the desert, insisted that I cut my hair. Him, Eric Bischoff, roll them all in the same cluster of shit. And I said it. They don’t know dick. And where are they now? Where are they now? Where is Vince Russo? I heard he’s in a trailer moving around the state of Colorado. I don’t know what he’s doing and don’t care, and we shouldn’t care. I care what Dave LaGreca is doing. I care what Mike Henry is doing. I care what Undertaker is doing. I care what Austin is doing. I care what LeBron James is doing. I care what Charlotte’s doing.”

Ric Flair went on to give his thoughts on Seth Rollins, and while he believes he’s a damn good worker, he explains that Rollins has heat with him because of The Man trademark issue between Flair and his wife, Becky Lynch.

“Seth Rollins is a damn good worker. He’s mad at me because I’ve been up and down with his wife, but I don’t really care,” Ric Flair said. “He’s good, but he ain’t me. I got no problem saying that. He walked right by me at an autograph session, and I thought you gotta be kidding me. Because of you and Becky and this Man trademark, you’re gonna ignore me, pal?

“Wow, but okay, I looked over at Undertaker, and I said, I guess I’m in timeout. I’m not mad at him. Listen, everybody should take their wife’s side in any debate there is. It’s just not worth it. You’re gonna take their side, and I totally understand that and that as long as it’s come and gone, but that was a sensitive point for me.”
