Eddie Edwards Is ‘More Than Open’ To Reuniting With Davey Richards In IMPACT Wrestling

Eddie Edwards isn’t sure what’s next, but he’s definitely on board with a potential American Wolves reunion in IMPACT Wrestling.

During a new interview with The Angle Podcast, Eddie Edwards was asked about the potential for teaming up with Davey Richards again in IMPACT Wrestling. The pair have recently started teaming together on the indies, and Edwards said he wouldn’t be opposed to doing it in IMPACT either.

“Yeah. Me and Davey, we’re friends. We do some indie matches here and there together, and in the professional wrestling world you never say never, so you don’t know what’s going to happen. I’d be more than open to it. Like you said, I think people would like to see it and I think me and Davey would like to do it at some point. Who knows what happens down the road? Maybe it happens, maybe it doesn’t, but I wouldn’t be opposed to it.”

As far as a potential opponent if the IMPACT reunion with Richards happened, Eddie said it’s a pretty easy choice for him.

“The Motor City Machine Guns. That’s an easy one. First and foremost, especially if we were to do it in IMPACT, it would be them.”

Davey Richards recently spoke with WrestleZone about getting back together with Edwards and addressed another potential match with FTR. The teams did face off once before at an All-Star Wrestling event, but Richards teased that it could happen again in the new year.

“Yes, they are [on a great run]. Honestly, how it happens is… boy, how do I [put it]? In 2023, we could potentially all be in the same place to do that,” Richards stated. “The really cool thing about wrestling now is that the fans can be heard through social media so if they wanted, and they voice their opinion on it, I know there’s four guys who definitely want it.”
