Seth Rollins had an emotional message for Brodie Lee, formerly known as Luke Harper, at WWE’s live event on December 3.
Rollins and Lee worked together throughout the latter’s WWE run; they clashed on opposite sides of the feud between The Shield and The Wyatt Family, and they were also close friends. Lee was released by WWE in December 2019, and he signed with All Elite Wrestling. Throughout his run with the company, Lee was featured as the leader of the Dark Order stable, and he memorably won the TNT Championship by defeating Cody Rhodes. But Lee fell ill and ultimately passed away on December 26, 2020
On December 3, WWE held a Holiday Tour Supershow event in Lee’s hometown of Rochester, New York. After Rollins’ match, he got a microphone and delivered an emotional message about Lee. Rollins emphasized that he loved and missed him, and he dedicated the show to him.
“He passed away a couple years ago about this time. This is really I’ve been here with a microphone in his city to tell him how much I miss him and how much I love him,” Rollins said. “I just wanted to say tonight was for him. Every single time we’re in Rochester, in my heart, it means we’re here for him. It’s Saturday, and you know what that means. So do your damn thing and sing my song.’ (H/t Fightful)
