Sami Zayn Wants To Work With Dante Martin, Calls MJF A Very Talented Performer

During a new interview with Peter Rosenberg for Cheap Heat, Sami Zayn spoke about talent he’d like to get the chance to work with. Sami said MJF was the first name that came to mind, then said Dante Martin was another AEW star he’d like to share the ring with.

“Not a ton… this is gonna make me sound like I’m becoming one of those old vets. I do see some guys out there. MJF pops to mind, I think he’s very talented. There’s one, not in a long-term storytelling type thing, which is where my mind goes a lot, but there’s a kid in AEW called Dante Martin who’s a really great high-flyer, and he kind of reminds me of the matches I would have on the independents with guys who were really good high-flyers. So just strictly based on-ring, if we were working an indy in front of 300 people, that’d be a fun match.

“But a lot of the guys, it’s guys that I’ve worked with before that I just miss and that I would love to work with again. Kenny Omega, just as an example, I know I’m listing a lot of AEW guys here, but I haven’t seen him in ten years. That’s insane. The last time I saw him was in December of 2012, and I miss him, and I miss working him. He was a lot like me, actually, very detail-oriented.”

MJF later responded to Zayn’s praise in a brief tweet, posting the following remarks:
